Taking the flowers, she brought them close to smell the bouquet before looking back up at him. Her expression was a mix of happiness and awe, her reaction to kiss him as the distance closed between them and she melted against him. "Thank you. They're beautiful," she murmured after pulling back. "Let me put them in water, and then we can go to the other apartment."
