Robin smiled as he watched her idly inspect his tattoo. It was strange to know it had been the first thing she'd seen of him, long before he had ever met her. He had wondered, once in a while, what might have happened if she had spoken to him. Things might have been very different.
But in the end, it really was all about timing, wasn't it?
"Quite a bit, at the time, but the pain didn't last terribly long. It's been a long time since I had it done," he explained. His gaze lifted to hers as he added, "Though I suppose it's good I got it, considering it turned out to be an important marking."
