Robin felt some flood of relief upon hearing her voice. He was still facing the wall, though he could hear her shifting in bed behind him. He wondered if it simply happened with arm movement, so he did take a tentative step so he could turn at least to the side to see her.
The moment his foot pressed into the carpet of his room, a rush of ice seemed to spring forth from that as well, spreading in a small circle around it. Startled, he stumbled backwards from it, his hand falling upon the wooden nightstand next to the bed. Icicles sprouted behind the heel of his hand, sharp and jagged, freezing the wood underneath.
"I can't control this. I can't -" he said, forcing himself to stop moving again, despite every part of him wanting to do otherwise. He had seen what a single flick of his arm could create. At the very least, he could look at Regina from where he stood, who looked almost as stunned as he felt. "Help me. What - what is this?"
All he could think of was that it clearly was some sort of magic. How and why he was able to do it was beyond his scope of understanding. He was desperately hoping, though, that perhaps she knew what it was, because if she didn't -

He didn't even want to think about it.
