Robin's smiled broadened at her words, and he squeezed her hand gently as she leaned in. Honestly, her proximity felt even warmer than usual, like it was slowly spreading outward.

He didn't think much of it, though he probably ought to have, because something was happening to him without him even being aware of the slow restoration of his normal features as the clock struck midnight. His attention, however, was fully on her for the moment. The question was unexpected, but he understood its' importance.

"I think if the person truly wants to change and puts in the effort to change, they will," he replied, honestly, remaining close as he spoke. He would have said the same to anyone without hesitation. To think otherwise would be to assume redemption didn't exist and there was no point in trying to try to be a better person if you lose your way. He couldn't accept that for even a moment. "And when they do desire it, they can do some truly miraculous things as a result. My lack of injuries can attest to that, I think."
